Designing for the inner west and Brimbank

Maribyrnong is full of Victorian and Edwardian cottages on narrow lots, many under a Heritage Overlay. Getting light, space and a second storey onto these blocks takes careful design. Further west in Brimbank, larger blocks suit dual occupancy and townhouse development, where a well-prepared town planning application makes all the difference.
